North Country Forum Feedback
A World Café style forum was held in Littleton on October 21, 2010. Three guided questions were used. This led to collaborative discussion about expanding Family/School Parnerships in Special Education. Three topics were chosen by the participants. These topics were areas that they felt they would like more information about or already have strategies that they would like to share with others. The participants at the Forum represented families, school and the community.
Throughout the school year, NH Connections will facilitate a discussion on each of the following topics. At these events participants will share and learn about other ideas and resources to support expanding family/school partnerships.
Topics Chosen at the Forum
Communication strategies to improve family/school partnerships
Understanding what resources are available and how to access them
Involving Families and School to explore Mentoring/Networking opportunities
