Who We Are
NH Connections is a project of the Parent Information Center and is funded by the NH Department of Education (NH DOE), Bureau of Special Education to support schools/school districts and families of children with disabilities build and strengthen family-school partnerships in special education.
NH Connections’ Facilitators provide research-based best practice resources, direct support, facilitation, training and assistance on a statewide, regional and individual basis to schools and school districts on creating and maintaining family-school partnerships in special education. NH Connections also trains and supports Parent Leaders in building and maintaining family-school partnerships in special education in their schools and districts. Additionally, NH Connections supports the NH DOE in the statewide Parent Involvement Survey in Special Education (also known as the Indicator 8 Survey).
